LX Group was established in 2017 By our MD, Bally Bhogal with a mission to help new and existing providers navigate the nuances and complexities of apprenticeship delivery and to drive up the quality of training provision. Initially established as ITSS Limited (Independent Training and Skills Services), in October 2019, the company name was changed to LX Group Limited, to more accurately reflect our mission to enhance the learning experience of apprentices.
Despite the change of name, our philosophy of uncompromising quality of service delivery has always remained the same and has helped us to attract a growing portfolio of clients from across the spectrum of the apprenticeship sector, including globally-recognised brand names such as Siemens, Serco and BAE Systems.
We help our clients to lighten the load of apprenticeship delivery by advising on and implementing best practice and improvement methodologies. Our services include apprenticeship audits, training, consultancy and digital learning – all based around our bespoke Spectrum-39TM framework model, which covers the full breadth and depth of apprenticeship design, delivery, management, monitoring and governance.
We share many decades of experience in training and apprenticeships, management and consulting and we’re united by a single objective; to transform learning and change lives by raising standards in the Apprenticeships training sector.
Founder and MD of LX Group Limited, Bally has nearly 25 years’ experience in funded training and apprenticeships. In addition to spells at Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP and National Express Plc, her previous high-level roles include managing skills and training programmes at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce & Business Link. Prior to establishing LX Group, she was a key member of the senior leadership team at Pera Training Limited.
Bally is the creator and developer of the unique end-to-end Spectrum-39™ model which is at the core of all the consultancy support and training services delivered by LX Group.
Bally is a regular speaker on apprenticeships at business events and conferences for various of organisations, including the Association of Employment & Learning Providers (AELP).
Prior to establishing his own successful consultancy business in 2006, Michael held senior management positions in a variety of business sectors, including finance, telecoms, manufacturing and IT.
Michael is passionate about delivering customer service excellence and driving business growth by improving the management and development of people. He holds an MBA from Aston Business School and is a Non-Executive Director of REPC Limited, an ICT equipment and phone recycling social enterprise based in the West Midlands.
Michael leads on business strategy and the commercial development of LX Group with a keen interest in needs identification (diagnostics), solutions design and user experience.
George has a background stretching over 25 years in the funded learning and qualifications delivery sector. He has experience in a wide variety of roles, including assessor/trainer, delivery team manager, internal quality assurer (IQA) and subcontractor manager. He is a qualified independent business adviser from Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and has advised employers of all sizes and sectors on their workforce development strategy and training planning.
George has an excellent appreciation of the apprenticeship sector in terms of delivery and quality management, having managed, coached and mentored teams of assessors and internal quality assurers across several colleges, private training providers and subcontractors. He now heads up Quality Assurance for LX Group.
Sukhy is a highly skilled, TAP certified Learning & Development professional with well over 20 years’ experience of delivering classroom and online training programmes in both the private and public sectors.
A true all-rounder, with end-to-end training design and delivery experience (incl. blended learning programmes), covering Leadership and Management Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Graduate & Apprenticeship programmes, in addition to a rare specialism in Online Learning programme design and implementation.
Sukhy is immensely committed to creating efficiencies through Learning & Development and is passionate about the impact of training on employees and the business. Suhky led the project team responsible for the initial design and implementation of LX Digital project and now oversees its ongoing development.
Vinh’s career began in the Education sector, having managed the business development and compliance of online learning for institutes of education. He then broadened his career to Learning & Development as a whole, having supported in business strategy and data insight. Combining this with a specialism in IT, Vinh brings to LX Group a passion for career development and digital transformation.
Vinh is an advocate for the power and potential of apprenticeships. He supports in the business development and digital marketing for LX Group, as well as providing insights from the public sector.
